Polina Sinovets at 2022 Carnegie International Nuclear Policy Conference

On October 27-28th, the OdCNP Director Polina Sinovets took part in the Carnegie International Nuclear Policy Conference, where "the most pressing challenges in nuclear nonproliferation, arms control, disarmament, deterrence, energy, and security" are being discussed annually. This year's conference was profoundly dedicated to the current nuclear threats made by Russia in the ongoing war in Ukraine and discussed the possibility of nuclear escalation in the coming future.

The first Annual Meeting of Black Sea Women in Nuclear Network

The first annual meeting of Black Sea Women in Nuclear Network took place in Malta between 17-21 October 2022 with the participation of members from all over the world, especially the Black Sea Region. This event became possible thanks to the joint efforts of James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies, Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey (the USA), Odesa Center for Nonproliferation (OdCNP), Odesa I. I. Mechnikov National University, Ministry for Foreign and European Affairs and Trade, Malta, Department of International Studies, Faculty of Art, University of Malta, and the support of the Swedish Radiation Safety Authority (SSM).
